We will be heading off to Nickel City and Dinner (Bring $10 to cover your costs). If you have a restaurant you want to go to feel free to suggest it when you come 
CG Kick of retreat | Friday, March 4th 7:15 p.m. – Sat 5th, 3:30 p.m.
Bring a change of clothes, sleeping bag, toiletries, a $40 check made out to Bethel.
Sunday School | Sunday, 9:15 a.m.
We’re joining the adults to explore how we can be a healthier and more inviting place.

Following this we will meet in the choir room at 10:00 am to warm up for the 10:30am service.

Coming into our Easter season, now is a lovely time to reflect on all the gifts we have been given by God. In my own life, I have recently been admiring the aesthetically pleasing landscape that surrounds us. I heard the snow retreat was a pretty ballin’ time up in the wild and beautiful mountains and if you life around C-town(Cupertino) I am sure you have been noticing all of the beautiful and abundant cherry blossoms. If you have some extra time this week, or are simply procrastinating take a look outside and think about how lucky we are to be ourselves

Hello friends of David,
Here’s a invitation by the Schrey’s to join them for a celebration of the successful months long journey of David. As I reflect back my overall feeling is that community surrounding the Schrey’s was the church at it’s best! So many prayers, food runs, chicken dishes, visitors, late night hospital antics, hallway golf, nerf projectiles, panda meat, scars, tubing, tears, laughter, drug induced quotes, and caring that touched all of Stanford Hospital’s 3 West. This is where the church needs to be!
I would like to encourage all of us to live that way in our daily lives, not just when there is a crisis. I would also like to personally thank David Schrey for teaching me how to live a spirit filled life:-) So, come and join the Schreys as they celebrate.

As I write this David is four weeks post-surgery. In a few weeks he will be done receiving IV antibiotics, getting his central PICC-line removed, and be able to drive and resume most regular activities. It has been a long and complicated road but also an extraordinary one. It’s now time to celebrate!
We are so grateful for the amazing love and support we experienced throughout those long six weeks and we would like to show our appreciation to all of you who have been with us through this journey.
Please join David and the rest of the Schrey family for an open-house party/celebration on Sunday, March 6 from 4:00 -8:00 pm. Stop in for food, refreshment, and fellowship!

Here’s a pdf with the important info for this year’s Winter Retreat. If you’ve done an event with Bethel before, I will get in touch with you to let you know if you are up to date with you medical release. If this is your first event, go to the forms page and download the “Medical Release” file, print it, fill it out, and get it to me by Wednesday, February 23rd at the very latest. Snow is currently dumping in the sierra’s so we’ll have a great trip. See ya at 2pm on the 24th

We will be heading over to Smoke Eaters @ 5:30. Then we will be watching a super stellar video and talking about L O V E.
This sunday we will be joining our older chums to talk about being a more inviting church. Living out loud *nudge nudge*
Also a reminder that ski trip money is due $_$ tomorrow and a post dedicated to ski trip will be up tomorrow!

Wednesday the 9th is our annual spring info/SPAGHETTI DINNER. Yes, please hold your applause until the end of the post as I am quite sure you clapped while reading the capitalized print above. Anywho, come to church tomorrow at 6:30 in the PM to enjoy our amazing homemade SPAGHETTI DINNER (no applause yet), information and games. If you would like to come early to help us cook and set up, Jeff and the other less important youth assistants along with our leader Thomas will be in Torvend Hall from 4:30 in the PM on.
