Hi Friends,

Peace, Tom
Get out your golden spatulas, cause tomorrow evening we will be having our first ever ever ever ever ever Iron Chief…Im not even joking right now! We will be divided into two separate teams. Each team will be assigned the task of coming up with a more supercalafragralisticexpialadoshus appetizer, main course, and desert than the other group. The following is a list of ingredients that will be provided for the epic battle: pasta, tomatoes, sugar, ground beef, sausage, cheddar cheese, sweet potatoes, brown sugar, lettuce, eggs, white bread, corn, flour, and strawberries. Bring your own spices. There will be a secret ingredient that MUST be added to each course. Ill give you a hint. It starts with a p. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BRING YOUR OWN RECIPES, SO LOOK ONLINE AND ASK YOUR PARENTS! The three courses will be judged by our esteemed judges Tom, Molly, and Mike. May the best team win!
Matty V.
We will be meeting at 5:30 for dinner at Chipotle!!! Afterwards we will head back to Bethel for a discussion

3.) Mission to Mexico is April 10th – 14th.

Attention all Sr High Youth!
The place to be tonight is with Common Ground at Bethel Lutheran Church in Cupertino. Come from 7:15pm to 9:00pm and get in touch with each other and with God. Any questions, call Tom at 408-309-9975.
See ya, Tom
P.S. Sponsors, see ya at 6
Hi Friends,
Join us tomorrow night as we kick off the lenten season. We’ll leave Bethel at 5:30 pm to grab some dinner at Fresh Choice ($10) and then will be back for the Ash Wednesday service at 7pm. Lent is so often overlooked by many Christians. It is a great season of introspection to look at our humanness and need for God. Come join us!
Tom
Hi Friends,
I want to invite you all to join me for Sunday School tomorrow. We will talk about God’s love for us and be inspired by the talk Jay Baker gave at the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans last summer. Oh yeah, we’ll have snacks too. I’ll see you at 9:30am tomorrow morning.
Peace, Tom
P.S. Bring your Winter Retreat payments too.
Hi Friends,
After posting the Sr High Winter Retreat Info Sheet, I discovered that there are two significant mistakes: The first is that we will be meeting at Bethel at 2:15pm and departing at 2:30. Second, is that you don’t need to bring a swimsuit.
Other than that, the info should be correct. See the new post attached below. We’ll have a totally full house which should be a blast. Please get your payment to Bethel by this Sunday, February 14th.
Peace, Tom
Hi Friends,
Here’s the attached pdf of the info for this year’s Sr High Winter Retreat. There will be some more info coming, but this is the basic stuff. Looking forward to hitting the slopes with you.
Peace, Tom
Greetings from Oxford, Alabama. I’m on my way to the National Youthworker Extravaganza to be with 400 others who think youth are the life blood of the church. I know I feel blessed that I get to be a part of all of your lives. Thanks!
While I’m gone, Kristen, Lindsay, Paige, and Matty are going the extra mile to make sure things move on in the right direction. These are a busy two weeks with Common Ground starting next Monday (Feb 8th), Winter Retreat sign ups, Superbowl Pizza distribution, and tonight’s Fellowship outing to make Care Packages for our College Freshmen who are away.
So, meet at Bethel tonight (Feb 3rd) at 5:30pm to head out to dinner ($10) and to buy the stuff for the care packages. Come and show the love!
Tom
