Put things in a much more fun perspective, as oppose to Jackie’s bureaucratic approach. Tomorrow, Wednesday the 12th, we will be viewing a rocking performance from the Bethel School program. All the coolest kids will be in attendance, so make sure you don’t miss out.
On Sunday, we will be discussing different Christmas traditions. Those who are in attendance will have the privilege of hearing all of my wacky traditions.
Later that Sunday we will be doing our ever-famous Ice Skating/Caroling/Pizzing Extravaganza
This you will most certainly shouldn’t miss, as you would be missing out on a defining moment for your young lives.
Finally, the San Francisco Walking tour will be taking place on the 22nd. I do not know but about this event but I can tell you that walking will be involved, most likely in San Francisco. We will be departing at 8 am. Boring details are listed for all said events listed above.

Hope to see everybody there

Love

The Coming Week

Saturday, December 4th, 2010

Hi Friends,
Here’s the scoop on the coming days:

Sunday, December 5th @ 10:30am: Sr High Sunday School about Advent: We’ll start with snacks (as always) and then sharing, then the story of the Ten Virgins (don’t want to miss that), and then how we can get ready for Christmas.

Wednesday December 8th @ 6:30PM: Jr/Sr High Christmas Party Extravaganza: Come bring a food item to share and the gift you said you would buy for the kids in need. We’ll have dinner, do some mixers with the JH kids, decorate cookies, wrap some presents, and watch a little Christmas flick. Should be a blast. Please let me know if you can make it.

Peace, Tom

Then join us at 7:15 for a discussion on a great movement called “TWLOHA”. If you know of any teens that are struggling with hurting themselves and/or suicide, this is a talk you don’t want to miss.

All 10th – 12th graders will be joining Robyn and our Jr High peeps for Sunday School in the Youth Room. Come at 9:15am for snacks and then 9:30am – 10:15am for a discussion. It is always a treat to learn from Robyn so don’t miss out!

I would like to apologize for Jackie’s un-creativeness in her posts(which she would like to point out are much more concise). For everybody who enjoys or is forced to put up with Jeff’s normal posts, here I am. Please hold your applause until the end. As usual we are posting this the night before the event. Also in our adopted norm, I (Jeff) will be blamed for its tardiness. You may lessen your applause due to this blunder.

On Wednesday we are going to be making pizzas followed by playing games. Please bring 6 dollars to reimburse Mrs. Molly Schrey for pre-purchasing the ingredients. If you have any of your church appropriate/portable games that you feel would give the rest of us joy, feel free to bring it along with your smiling face.

Hope to see y’all tomorrow,
Jackie and Jeff

wednesday october 27 at 5:30

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

The youth assistants would like to apologize for posting this post the day before our weekly event. There was some miscommunication so as usual Jeff is being blamed. My bad.

Tomorrow we encourage everybody to bring a scary food and costume. Please bring enough for about ten people so that everyone can partake in your scary cooking abilities. Just kidding. Your all fantastic. We also ask that you keep your costumes church appropriate for Wednesday, on Halloween go nuts.

After snacking/dinner-ing, we will be creating our own “church appropriate” movies. It would be wise to plan in advance as we don’t want to have any dull plots, not that we have had any in the past.

Sunday, Molly will be leading us in a discussion regarding other protestant religions and how they compare to our own. Be sure to wear red.

We have been have relatively low attendance on Sundays, which I (Jeff) also confess to missing every now and then, and so we are hoping that more people will show up to hear/partake Molly’s upcoming awesome discussion.

Hope to see your pretty faces tomorrow,

Jeff

btw somebody left a blender at church. if it is yours feel free to claim it. otherwise it will be considered a very generous donation to the church.
