Our Friday concert starts at 7:30 but be here at 6, invite your friends, and bring 2 dozen treats (cookies, bars, brownies, ect.) to share. Saturday meet in the parking lot at 7:30, yes in the morning. People, it’s getting close ,so listen to your cds, memorize your lines, start packing, and know your stuff! Also, we are still looking for somewhere to have our cast party after tour, if you are interested talk to Tom!

Bonjour!
So sadly our wednesday nights of fun are at an end. This week instead of a wednesday event we will be meeting up on THURSDAY at 5:30 to go to Taco Bell/ Togos/ KFC/ Starbucks and then we will be heading off to Homestead High School to see Rachel and Tyler in the play The Laramie Project. This play is an incredibly moving story about a boy who was killed in Wyoming for being gay. If you can make it then please go to show your support of Rachel and Tyler and to see a great play!
REMINDER: This friday and saturday is the Common Ground work weekend. We will be meeting at church at 7:15 to practice our songs and dramas and start putting our show together!!! If you cannot come make sure to let Tom know. We should be done by 4 on saturday ![]()
See you all soon!
Lindsay
P.S. Bring $6 and your ASB card for the play.
Tomorrow head to church at 5:30 to get some din at McDonalds, Quiznos, El Pollo Loco, or anywhere else in that vicinity!! After we’ll head back to the fire side room at around 7 for the ELCA sexuality statement discussion. Hope you all can make it!!! Seeeeeee you thereeeeee
ALSO
The youth assistants worked with Chris to create a CG 2010 facebook group. We’re hoping this will spread the word about our concerts and help bring in the crowds!!!! Soooo….please accept the invitation!!!!
If we missed you, you can click on this and join. The group is open to everyone! We will soon be creating events for each of our concerts. Once that is done you can help support CG by inviting all your friends and family to the kick-off/homecoming concerts!!!
THANKS GUYS!

Hi Friends,
Here’s a pdf of the Common Ground Announcement Page for tonight. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Also, a reminder that we’re having a Mission to Mexico Info Meeting this coming Wednesday night, March 10th at 7:15pm in the Fireside Room.
Also, also: We will be joining two So Cal churches for a Houseboat Trip this summer (see the announcement page). We have a fund raising opportunity this Saturday working concessions at the Bethel School Health Fair. I’m looking for interested kids and adults to work this event. Please let me know if you can help.
Thanks, Tom
Hi Common Ground Parent Types,
I’m excited that so many of you were with us last Monday. I’ve attached pdf’s of many of the forms that I handed out last week. I’ll put out the schedule very soon when I determine the exact date of the Car Wash. Thanks for all your support and I look forward to the coming months.
Peace, Tom
Hi Friends,
Here’s the March 1st Common Ground Announcement.
Peace, Tom
Hi Friends,
I want to invite you all to join me for Sunday School tomorrow. We will talk about God’s love for us and be inspired by the talk Jay Baker gave at the National Youth Gathering in New Orleans last summer. Oh yeah, we’ll have snacks too. I’ll see you at 9:30am tomorrow morning.
Peace, Tom
P.S. Bring your Winter Retreat payments too.
Hi Friends,
After posting the Sr High Winter Retreat Info Sheet, I discovered that there are two significant mistakes: The first is that we will be meeting at Bethel at 2:15pm and departing at 2:30. Second, is that you don’t need to bring a swimsuit.
Other than that, the info should be correct. See the new post attached below. We’ll have a totally full house which should be a blast. Please get your payment to Bethel by this Sunday, February 14th.
Peace, Tom
