Tomorrow night=Thanksgiving Service @ 7 + Pie after..don’t forget!

But NEXT Wednesday, the 2nd, @ 6:30 we will be having a fabulous Christmas PARTY! Including, cookie making, movies, and other fun filled activities. Everyone needs to bring their favorite food (NOT DESSERT. main courses ONLY)–this is what we’re all going to be sharing for dinner. After dinner we’ll make and decorate some cookies and then watch either Christmas Vacation, Christmas Story, Jingle All The Way, The Grinch, I’ll Be Home For Christmas, or Elf. Decide which one you want to watch and then let us know!!

We’ll also be wrapping all the gifts for Adopt A Family so don’t forget to sign up for which present you want to buy. Also, we will be taking money donations to go towards food for the family’s Christmas Dinner. WE NEED WRAPPING PAPER….so if you have any of that kind of stuff like wrapping paper, ribbon, tape, etc bring all you got!! That’s about it..if you guys have any questions about Adopt A Family, you can ask one of the youth assistants. Lindsay will post more details about the gifts for the family, so you can sign up.

This Wednesday for our service project we will be cleaning the church sanctuary! Come by at 5:30 with a sack dinner to eat and be ready to get a little dirty. We will be cleaning until 8 and then going out for some dessert at Yougurtland.

Just an update on tomorrows event. Instead of the Safeway shopping center food area we will be taking a little trip over to Holders Country Inn to enjoy a lovely breakfast for dinner. Then we will be discussing homelessness watching the first part of a movie called Where the Day Takes You. WARNING: this movie has bad language and graphic images of homelessness. Please let your parents know about the topic. Next week we will be doing a service project and then probably pizza after. We will update the details on next week soon!

Wednesday, November 4th, we’ll be getting some FOOOD at either Panda Express, McDonalds, Ariake, Quizno’s, or El Pollo Loco. You need to bring around $5-$15, depending on your choice. After, we’ll head back to church for a great discussion you should all be very excited for!!!! I better see all of you there at 5:30 SHARP, or I’ll be a verrrry sad girl :’( <---- like that. Okay. Just a reminder that we’re  off and running tomorrow with all Jr and Sr High Youth to a feeding and putting extravaganza!  Tomorrow we’re welcoming our new Interim Associate Pastor, Laurie Eikman and we’ll celebrate the event with some cake after worship (who said you shouldn’t eat dessert first).  Then we’ll depart (about 11:50) for In N Out and then Golfland.  Bring $20 for the day of fun and we’ll be back to Bethel around 2:30pm.  Make sure to let me know if you will be joining us.  Call my cell or email me at th----@------.net.
